When I joined Acro Technologies, I learned that the Mississippi Health Department was managing thousands of case files manually using paper-based records and spreadsheets. This manual system caused delays in approvals, data loss risks, inconsistent case tracking, and communication gaps among departments.
Caseworkers struggled to locate information quickly, and the absence of a centralized platform made collaboration nearly impossible.
My goal was to design a digital case management system (ACAMS) that replaced paper files with an intuitive, secure, and accessible platform.
The vision was to enable faster case resolution, ensure data accuracy, and empower teams to work collaboratively — while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards.
